| Description: | Wonderland Translations is a project of Wonderland Anime Forums. It started innocently enough with one person saying "hey, I am really excited about reading this manga but I can't read it in Japanese," and another person saying, "well I can and have the time to translate it, so if I do so, you wanna do the graphical part so we can let other people read it, too?" And thus Wonderland Translations was officially born. The translator already had a project or two he wanted to share, and then more people were roped in to help out. We've got five members in all with varying abilities that overlap, so we have a small number of series we're doing concurrently. We do have one thing in common when it comes to releasing scanlations: none of us have done this before. We're all learning as we go, but we're committed to putting out quality releases in the actual English language. We're not trying to do this for internet points or ad revenue or anything. Basically the translator wants to share these overlooked manga with an English-speaking audience. Not sure why everyone else is doing it other than that they're awesome. We'd certainly like new people to join the site and post away if they like what they see around here. That's probably the founder's second biggest motivation and one the rest of us share.
