I don't know why Hero is being attacked so eagerly... as far as I've seen he's the one who just tried to express his opinion and didn't even try to force it on you. He also maid claims I see as resonable; One vote might not represent all the voters, but as far as I know, that's why things get decided by majority rule when there's a voting. Majority does represent majority... and the majority of Jump readers seems to like battle manga best at the moment.
Then again, it is hard for a romcom to survive, if not for the votes, then for the obvious plot. I've read a few romcoms and I can easily predict what is going to happen next in the chapter after few pages, because the author is almost forced to follow a strict pattern. (Or that it seems to me.) Whereas battle mangas seem to be more free in their plot choices, if if not totally.
Hope this breaks a lance in favor of Hero without reheating the discussion ![]()
