well nah dn't rly care :D I read EVERYTHING except shojou yaoi and that stuff :P I tried but never got into them and thanks everyone for the list that you provided me with ^^

ahhh......... well, I see what you mean. Sure, they're different formats, no doubt about that. And there really may be a different word in the Korean language to specifically refer to webtoons other than the word "manhwa", I really don't know.

 

Though I do have to say, at least when talking about English language websites (other than reader sites like this one I mean) in the articles I've personally seen, webtoons and traditional  printed Korean comics were all lumped together and referred  to as "manhwa" with no real distinction........I just happened to know which was which of the titles they were listing. 

well i guess you have a point and it depends on oppinion more than anything else

I'm sorry, could you explain exactly why you say that? Isn't the word "manhwa" simply the word for "comic" in the Korean language? That's certainly how I've always understood it..........if that's the case, why would a Korean webtoon be other than a "manhwa" when referred to in general terms?

 

well webtoon literal meaning is comics that are hosted in websites. Whereas manwhas are paperback books. Also you normaly don't see manwha in color whereas mostly all the webtoons are in color.
