As for guys... um... I really hate those guy characters that try to protect everything when they're useless so someone like Sakamaki Izayoi from Mondaiji is good in my book.

I haven't really watched it to be 100% sure, but I think maybe Tamako Market would fall into that category? It certainly seems it would anyway but don't take my word for it.

Working! was also pretty good and no real fanservice as far as I can remember(although it has been a while since I last watched it).

I did read that. However, I wasn't pointing out that you did not know enough. I was pointing out that the statement you made immediately after saying you believed the OP seemed right was completely contradictory to the OP's statement.

I still don't see it. He did say that Shounen-ai was somewhat accepted. A conclusion that can be deduced by that is that he also finds this a bit strange.
