Been reading manga since I was 11, can't stop now. Anime is awesome as well, of course. You should go watch "Rinne no Lagrange" right now, if the OP of the first season doesn't hook you automatically, then the great voice actresses and the animation itself will do the trick.
And yes, the first manga I read WAS AND FOREVER SHALL BE, Love Hina. If any artist can come close to what Akamatsu-sensei created, I would be overjoyed.
