Bloody Monday - Last Season, another project I've been reeeaaally waiting for, picked up by a group with a "Do not upload!" policy. Is this some kind of conspiracy?

Mangafox is illegally making money off of comics and most scanlators dont want to support that. but having a do not upload policy is dumb. someone is always going to upload them anyways. Might as well upload them to batoto and direct people there for those who dont download comics.

I should add most of mangafox like sites also profit illegally from comics. As well as compressing the images to shit quality.

Never quite understood it either. I can get a delay policy, but not a complete upload stop. It's not like they own the series to begin with.
A guy in my scan group once suggested we do the same because Mangafox wasn't respecting our delay policy; I said I'd leave the group if we did that. I edit manga for the sake of the fans, not for the length of my internet penis, and restricting access to the work to that degree makes the whole scanlation work practically pointless.
