I've added a pop-under ad to ToG comic page. When you start to read something, you may get a single pop-under (it'll be behind your current window so it's not annoying like poping up in front).

I'm planning to run this ad for two days to test. End earlier if terrible. Or remove other ads if very good. See which people prefer if similar.

Things that shouldn't happen:

• You see the pop more than once. The pop ad should be limited to once per session. If you've seen it and haven't closed the browser since, you should never see it again.
• Adult ads. This is a clear no-no. If you see this, please let me know here.
• Virus/malware. Again, this is a clear no-no. If you see this, please let me know here.

Why I'm trying new ad formats:

• So I can center images again. lol And generally design sites without ads in mind. Pops don't really change the look of the site. 
• Previously mentioned issues with current one (for those who have been keeping up).

Yet another scheduled maintenance will begin april 1st and potentially lasting upto 4th. No downtime is expected (lol imagine the number of complaints if it was down for 4 days!).

This maintenance will cover largely moving servers for the website. The new datacenter is known to be of high quality, so, hopefully fewer people will have issues with connection speeds.

Initial maintenance that requires any downtime is complete!
 
Batoto will be going under maintenance for various upgrades. (yay!)

Maintenance will begin 2AM EST and planning for up to 6 hours. Though likely won't take more than 2. The site WILL BE OFFLINE during this time.

Here's what's done and what will come.
 
The new:

• Invision Power Board (our base) is upgraded to 3.4.3 (newest). Skipping 3.3 entirely. ^^; (and along with the full list of 3.3 and 3.4 features [and minor version changes])
• You can edit comments now! (in comic pages that is. along with more options).
• The language filter is site wide. You'll find them in bottom of right hand row in various areas of the site.
• Follows page has been completely revamped. It's designed so that those with 2000+ follower (yes, they really exist) can actually load the page.
  • The old follows is still there too. http://www.batoto.net/follows_comics
• Site skin: Deluxe is the new default.
• Site skin: Blood (the dark themed skin) should be good to go.
• Site skin: Sylo has been updated to fit the new 3.4 needs. For those who liked the old look better, switch to this and it'll look the same!

What's to come within the next few hours:

• Performance tweaks... yeah... 
• Bug fixes... yeah... Report them on IRC for the next few hours please. Please report any that you see.
• The "like this" history is invisible. Blame IPB. I'm innocent... Gotta manually change settings...

Okay, well, there was more fixes than I had anticipated. So, will probably need to take care of more stuff tomorrow. I hope batoto will be fine through high traffic time... Seems the newer version is a bit heavier than before which was already heavily tweaked for performance.
 
Sylo skin is still not done. Same with IP.Board skin (though, not really planning to support IP.B skin - probably not very popular choice). Blood & Deluxe should be done. If you see problems with the skin, please report in the support forum (not here!).
 
For those that liked the old follows much better, it's still there. Link on the right. But, I do plan on eventually removing the old interface with a merged interface that'll have features of both. Because... why have two?

Got some performance tweaks done. Had to be more aggressive here than I wanted it to be. There may be some bugs as a result of it. But the site should at least be speedy.
Bunch of minor bug fixes done since previous post time.
