...
there's no "name" for each character ... I wonder how they will present it in anime ...
and ... the novel has gone quite far compared manga ...
will they take the joke one, the serious one or 4koma ?

if it's adapt the serious one, we might get Spicy Wolf again ... =3= ...

Depending on how well it's received, the 4koma one could be done in a similar way to the Haruhi-chan series from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, i.e. a parody of the main storyline.

This is exciting news. I am happy to know the series is popular enough to be an anime.

hmm ...
I hope it adapt "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - "Be mine, Hero" "I refuse!"" ...
if it's get too serious, it hard to make a charm out of it ...
however the 4koma is also kind of weak to take interest of the mass ...

That's awesome news! I totally want this series to become an anime. I'd really want to see the "Be Mine, Hero" made into the anime though. The art style fits with the comedy and it still has a bit of a serious undertone without being overbearing. It's perfect to be made into an anime and I'm sure it would be highly popular that way.

Let's just hope they don't rush through the plot, taking a completely different direction than the manga AND end it before the manga finishes. I've seen that too often (i.e. the original FMA anime, where FUNimation made a whole different plot line than the manga)

I fight in the name of peace. I go to battle to bring order. I march along my comrades, who I will never abandon as they would do the same. I am of the Boros Legion, and if you are not with me, then you are against US.

The Boros Legion is the guild of righteous law and fierce justice. The most formidable military force on Ravnica, the Boros are efficient, self-assured, and zealous in the pursuit of their ideals. The Boros believe passionately in law; to them it is the structure by which society functions and the road map for the community’s health and safety. Anything that violates the letter of the law, threatens the spirit of the law, or obstructs the enforcement of the law is considered an enemy of the Boros Legion. In effect, anyone who disagrees with the Boros is an enemy of the Boros.

Btw, I laugh at all the other Guilds in Ravnica

Yeah, this one is the 'most balanced' in terms of humor and drama.

i agree i like the other adaptions too, but "be mine" have a broader audience, the other ones sadly are too loyal to the novel and become a bit to "wall-of-texty", the artstyle in "be mine" fists its tone but i still like the original artstyle alot.

Dunno if anyone saw this already, but the art style is different. I'm not sure on the design of the demon queen, but the rest looks great. And dat music :Q

So yeah, they're doing things perfectly from the source material. ( But i would rather have this manga style.. so eyecatching. )

Never mind- just saw the front page:

''One of five simultaneous serializations of the Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. This version was selected as the official manga adaptation of the light novel.''

The art may have been too advance as the shading and colouring are superb in every single way. It may have been too much for them too handle, so sticking with the simple one was better for them i guess?

I was half expecting the anime's character design to be adapted from this particular manga instead of the 'official, official' adaptation. I know there's a reason why I follow this one out of the rest; heck, Head Maid doesn't look half as decent compared to this one. And I hope they don't keep it to one jiggling per 3 minutes routine :X. Overall, will be looking forward to manga update more than the anime. Personally, the primary attraction of the manga is the artstyle and the improbability of duplicating it on the anime is a given.

Edit: Oh, and fix your bed hair already, Hero!

Id have to agree with you there, The best parts that idint expect were the economics lectures. I just thought this would be another hack/slash harem. But With even those elements it has excelled past my previous expectations. I really hope this is the version that is adapted.

THe art style of the queen is waaaay, to lax compared to the Be mine hero, I refuse, Which really sucks

*edit: I know whats wrong with the queen her eye pupils were human circles instead of demon slits.

The art style is completely different from this manga, it's a lot closer to the other manga adaption (Archenemy and Hero) or maybe to the Light Novel. I would've liked it to be closer to this manga's though, since I like it better. But oh well, I just hope they can present the story well in the anime. It's pretty difficult to input all the talks and details in anime.
