kumo (bless his soul) was wrong in ch19, there is in fact an arachnid thas has adapted to life underwater. [Argyroneta aquatica] spend their entire life underwater only partially surfacing to restock their air supply.

Well spiders are one of the most diverse species on the planet (over 40,000 of them) and they pretty much exist about anywhere.
