it was actually a bara manga that got me hooked on yaoi. i liked it so much that i started reading anything i could find, searching for the same style
i'd read a few hundred yaoi before i found out that i was looking for the wrong tag in the wrong place..

Hmm... I think the first bara manga I've read was by Sakira >_< I'm not really in to hardcore yaoi actually. I prefer soft ones - with drama and less sex.
