The story that has not yet finished...?
Here you can make a vote for whine, beer and champagne alone, with all their "subdivisions"
.

I don't like the taste of beer all that much, but they sell it everywhere, and so I do drink the stuff when I go out, also, drinking from a bottle is more practical when you're in a club.
If I drink wine from grapes, it has to be a dry one, and preferably white - for some reason I have trouble downing red wine -, but more than 2 or 3 glasses make me quite tipsy. There's also apple wine, which has a great deal less alcohol, and was ubiquitous where I grew up (Frankfurt), though unlike cider, it's rather sour.
I assume you mean sparkly wine, when you say champagne. Quality and taste can vary a lot with that stuff, from cheap blends to ones made in the méthode champenoise/traditionnelle, Mumm is pretty OK and usually inexpensive , and I like Laurent-Perrier and Veuve Clicquot, but they are both actual champagne, and even the cheaper bottles cost a lot more than regular sparkling wine. You have to be careful when drinking "champagne", since the bubbles get the alcohol a lot faster into your bloodstream.
Gin and vodka are great, but I would never drink them straight, only together with tonic - very refreshing on a hot day -, or in a cocktail, like a gimlet.
I don't like whiskey/whisky at all, and I haven't had any since I was fifteen, or sixteen.
Similarly, brandy/cognac is another type of spirit that I don't drink, and even avoid in cocktails.
I really like tequila, and unlike many people I know, I favour white tequila, straight with a slice of lemon, but no salt. It's fun to share a bottle with a couple of friends on a hot summers night, even if it's of a higher quality, i.e., aged for more than two months. Somewhat related is mezcal (tequila is a type of mezcal), but it has a smoky flavour, and I've only had bad experiences with it.
As long as it's dark (Jamaican) rum and not BACARDI®, I like it in cocktails, or mixed with ginger ale.

There are 3 kind of people in this world:
1- Boring people who look at the earth and don't know the sky.
2- Dreamers who look at the sky and stumble with earth.
3- Fools who look ahead and think they see everything when they see nothing.
I'm the second one, but with the difference that I always rise when I fall.
