As we know there is the issue of the gender neutral Korean word.
This made me think, are Korean words gender neutral in general, like we have King and Queen, is their word for King gender neutral?
You get where I'm going with this I think, but I'm basicly wondering if the Korean word that is translated to King is gender specified. Since considering SIU and his nature as well as the fact that its princesses that are the "special athourity".

Could Zahard be Female?
If not, Why?

Sorry if this have already been answered.

From what I searched just now, SIU used "Wang Jahad" before in chap 33 which means "King" Jahad. If he used the word "yeowang" it would mean Queen. So this means Zahard is a male. ( I don't know korean, don't blame me if this is wrong :P )

And this was mentioned somewhere in forums as well:

if a princess of Zahard seizes all of the 13 month weapons, they get to bear the child of Zahard. This would be gross if Zahard is a female :P

In general, king is male in Korea. Queen is called as '여왕(女王, female king)', whereas king is '왕(王)'.

some 'king' could be female but barely situation.

Well, I know a bit of Chinese so I can confirm that "Wang" 王 means King and "nuwang" 女王 means Queen.

For pony!!! :D

Miseng is supposedly the Prince of Zahard and thus, a trap. SIU, you've completely outdone yourself this time. :D :D :D

And I'm very sorry, I just rarely accept friend requests these days. I don't really do Facebook friend requests. Maybe next time. :P

Okey, so the Korean word for King is like in English only carried by Male individuals then?

Not sure about nurse, but I'm pretty sure president, doctor, teacher are all gender neutral titles/positions in Korean. King is not of these.

As far as I am aware yes. I only know a little Korean, but I do like watching historical kdramas and I can never recall 'wang' being used for any female rulers, even reigning ones like Queen Seonduk (Seondeok yeowang). I suppose there could be an exception (there are a few examples of female rulers labeled as "kings" in history ), but I think in this case, King Zahard should be assumed to be male.

Royal Korean titles are kind of complicated, but I believe it goes like this
wang (왕) = King
yeowang (여왕) = Reigning Queen
wangbi (왕비) = Queen Consort
daebi (대비) = Dowager Queen
