None of the suggestions strikes me as something I would really like to have on Batoto yet. I'll think about it and maybe I can make some sort of contribution to the matter at had as well.

Additionally I foresee an increase of spam, nonsensical posts, random quoting without new input or posts made to express plain impatience with this change. (If you don't get what I mean read this topic again closely. - I do admit I have seem worse, though.)

i fully understand what you mean...... i suggested this with all good intention for the members to continuously stay active on the forums and with the thought that the titles are like a small reward to us for being so... however, i agree that the above mentioned could pose a problem for the admin/moderators... but then each member have different individuality, one can remind them to post appropriately... thinking about it, can one really tell them not to?... I think it's becoming part of most forums in every site. Even so, i do have your sentiments... It's not encouraging to see forums with nothing but spams and nonsensical post (guilty at times lols)... It would be really a challenge for you guys... as Batoto is becoming bigger..

Here's my two cents. I feel like difference between ranks is important. Number after line is the number of posts between ranks.

Newbie (Rookie): 0-9 | 10
Member (Bench): 10-99 | 90
Regular: 100-249 | 150
Junior Varsity: 250-499 | 250
Varsity: 500-999 | 500
All-Star: 1000-1999 | 1000
Master: 2000-4999 | 3000
Grandmaster: 5000-8999 | 4000
Goku: 9000-9999 | 1000
Lurker Extraordinaire: 10K+ | N/A

As you can see I took inspiration from sports (and chess). The lower tiers (up to regular) sound normal, but I think that everyone would be pretty happy to see "Varsity" or "All-Star" on their profile. Master sounds a bit weird though but I couldn't think of much else. Brings up the issue of spamming and such again though.

So far the "limit" is 2K because that's what Grumpy has. But eventually it'll extend to 5K, etc.

I like the Tower of God reference, it has to be like that. Like, it has to be something manga/anime-related, if we chose a theme like Naruto, then it would be: Academy Student, Gennin, Jounin, Chuunin, etc...

I think that it can be better, though I'm not good with name ideas, Trebor's idea seems fine for me.

I don't think it should all be related to one Manga, tho'. For example, I didn't even know that was a Tower of God reference until I read your post. It's better to have a ton of different references from popular manga and anime.

That's why I said to do common ones. A lot more people would get jokes made from Dragon Ball Z and memes and such than they would from Tower of God.
