Well as far as music goes I gotta toss The Black Mages name in here.

They are an Rock instrumental group made up of the 3 composers to square enix and they rock pretty hard. The wave of nostalgia you get while listening to some of the final fantasy songs is also pretty sweet.

Also Im pretty sure everyones heard of them by now but if not give this a listen

Bump of Chicken, they made the opening song for tales of the abyss, but have a lot of good song other than that

I love The Black Mages, I'm sad they aren't doing it anymore :(

Ehhh, I listen to a lot of J-rock like Pierrot, old Dir en grey, Luna Sea, BUCK-TICK, etc. and a ton of video game music. If I had to pick faves there I would say Yasunori Mitsuda, Yoko Shimomura, Nobuo Uematsu, Yuki Kajiura, Shoji Meguro, Akira Yamaoka... crap that's too many. And I have a hidden weakness for K-pop.
Probably forgot something I'll be all mad about later...

Definitely Shooting Star by Piko and all of his other songs! ^_^

I also love many vocaloid songs~

Aside from those, mostly anime songs like from the anime Full Moon

They're all Japanese songs! xD Don't listen to Korean music often these days... >.>

OOOO I like these korean bands call Beast, T-ara, and kara.... They're really gud..but thats just my opinion.

buck-tick (trinity blood, nightwalker, xxxholic, shiki)
yashiro aki (enka...)

all are easy to find on youtube
there are others too, but for those i mentioned, i like all their songs, and not just a few of them

-Uverworld's "In my world" (Ao no exorsist)
-Shakugan no shana III "light my fire" and "I believe (by kotoko and Altima)
-Authentic Symphony (Choucho)
-Oath Sign (FateZero)
-Watashi no ki-mo-chi (Boku ha tomodachi ga sukunai)
-Dream of life (Bakuman II)
-supercell songs (too many to mention)

It's hard to choose... but any opening/ending from Death Note works for me, plus OST.
