I've been wondering this for a while now, I think the story will eventually explain it.
Looking at chapter 21, and a few chapters before that there are two kids with blonde/yellow hair named Rune and Ron (girl and boy, repectively). In chapter 21, they refer to Anne as mom. Upon closer to examination, both the kids have red and green colored eyes, which are exactly the colors of Anne's and Pray's. Considering that both Pray and Anne have an unnatural attraction towards one another. Are Rune and Ron, the kids of Anne and Pray? Possible test tube babies with both their DNA?
