Hello people of batoto,

Seeing as there isn't a topic yet to discuss the new developments of Feng Shen Ji, I thought it would be appropriate to start one.

As the first two chapters are translated and uploaded by Easy Going Scans(whom succeeded in translating yet another great manga/manhua), we can all see that they look, at the very least, very promising.

Now tell me, ladies and gentlemen, What do you think will happen with and in this story? Will it follow the legendary tale or will it create a whole new one? I, for one, am watching this series!

Now, let us enjoy life some more!

well i dont know that legendary tale so its plot seemed pretty cliche to me. but the way it explanied and art is awesome .
and i think we wont see a good ending it will be dropped soon by author or trasnlators :( it looks too much of a work

The prince is a little bitch. I don't care if he grows up to be the god of war is still pathetic. I can understand begging your mother not to murder you, reminds me of my own childhood. But he seemed all to ready to abandon his parents, to whom he owed his oh so pitiable princely status, to their fate. Not to mention how he views the station of those pathetic slaves working to death for his would-be future empire. He actually had a much more empathetic example in his father than I would imagine most royal heirs would find and he still turns out the spoiled brat he is. I will concede however that I was just as much of a putz at his age....ah, who am I kidding, I still am.

As for the matter at hand, I'm not a big fan of the body swap of this chapter. I'm more inclined to appreciate a time skip than jumping right to a somewhat older body, just seems artificial(well duh. lol). Anyways, been impressive so far so I have no doubt it will continue to entertain me.

well...u have to realize his father publicly whipped and humiliated him over someone who is "lesser". That's probably why he's sulky, because his father stood up for some slave rather than his own son.

I read all 38(first part)+65(second part) raw volumes(they are really volumes, think at the work for hq 40 pages full color) published until now. it is a fantasy totaly worth to read.

Amazing, and made even more amazing by the fact that there are 38 + 68 + ?? chapters of this amazing in artwork and story manhua. Well, what I meant to say is, I love this series and I'm glad there is more and more coming.

I hope @Egoist is still reading to see how much better the MC has become. I wonder if his divine power Monochrome has a more significant relation to the main antagonist than just being the same. Also I'm hoping/looking forward to a deeper explanation of the power and watching Wu Geng unlock its secrets

One a week.

As for the last chapter... I don't really like when people are revived in stories because I've seen it too much, sometimes it even becomes nothing to revive people, so death doesn't matter anymore. But since it allows to introduce a new character/relationship, and it's the first time, it iesn't bad, I just hope it doesn't become a habit :s

And I kinda wish she died, because I'd like it more if he was with Ah Lan :P
