Since the previous "MangaFox" threads got locked, I'll place this here, since it's also NOEZ related.

They just reuploaded a whole bunch of new manga that includes "Mature" manga that was previsouly removed like 2 years ago... in random chapters no less... some only got a chapter 3 or chapter 17 on it....

Next thing you know, they'll be uploading "Lolicon" mangas again...

I still wonder why the "mangafox team" is still there... don't they know what's happening with NOEZ?
Are they actually getting paid? and why do people still send in applications on wanting to become an officer in MangaFox...
Knowing this, I am thinking that all MangaFox officers don't know the truth, or they do but they don't give a shit about scanlation groups...

BTW, I am starting to notice more and more watermarks on mangas... it's starting to get annoying, but I guess it can't be helped that NOEZ is being a "bitch" forcing scanlation groups to do so.

The best "scan site" or "host site" used to be One Manga, but they closed due to request from the Publishing Companies.
All One Manga is now is a forum site... not much activities..

There were a lot of Host Sites that was extremely good and follows requests from scanlation group.
Most of them are gone now however ;(

Some Sites that I used to visit:
Manga Toshokan --- (was larger than MangaFox...)
ANIP --- (used to be able to download entire volumes... but I think they removed the function)
Manga Reader --- (pretty good site, easy to find mangas)
Manga.animea.net --- (a combo of anime and manga site in one)
Manga Volume --- (the second site I found after One Manga, interesting layout, instead of just titles, they show the manga covers in Manga List too)

The only reason they took them down was because someone pointed out that they had google ads on loli mangas and it pissed google off. I am really surprised that they didn't rehost them when the smoke had blown over.

Also I miss Manga Toshokan. If they hadn't disappeared I would be there right now instead of here.

With their recent action on bakuman, Red Hawk Scans now operates on the same scale as NOEZ.
Give them a big applause.

Some people I've met who worked there quit after they learned about NOEZ. Others stayed, not out of loyalty for NOEZ, but because they didn't want to leave the MF community that they "grew along" with. When it comes to uploading certain manga or other higher-level administrative, the staff aren't able to do much, as the power still resides with the big admin.

Example of that would be uploading Manga Stream's releases. NOEZ knew how much Stream's three big shounen releases brought visitors to their sites, so they ignored MS's wishes to not upload on their site, despite some staff emailing the admin about it.

I never worked there, only echoing what I've heard from some staff. So take it with a grain of salt.

Didnt they always operate like that? Mangafox post links on their MAIN site to the redhawkscans website for free~~
I'm pretty sure they bribed them like they tried to bribe many other groups... with mere 100$/Month ^_^.

Exactly, we got the same proposition, same to many other groups, we still have that mail saved perfectly, along with our answer for them to screw themselves :D.

No, it was already known before that RHS was bribed.
That's not what I meant.

I meant now that they received word from the publisher to stop, they just turn on a blind eye to it and continue nevertheless.
I already lost all my respect for them when they affiliated with mangafox, but now it's going in the negative digits....

I have to agree with prozess on this. I am a fan of the world god only knows and magico so I still like them for that but the whole C&D and their attempts to circumvent that is not right. To be honest I was surprised to see the chapters of bakuman and beez uploaded here. Aren't you kinda helping circumvent the C&D by hosting the chapters? I know the C&D wasn't sent to Batoto but shouldn't you show your respect for the publisher by not hosting the stuff.

I agree with PRO as well, RHS has taken the plunge into the monetary scheme of things and I can now officially consider all of them fuckwits. Is Ichibufag still with them?

I also miss OneManga. I cried a lone tear the day they went down, allowing the rapid rise of MangaFox and all the others. I still don't mind Manga Toshokan, they're alright. Then again I haven't read anything on their site forever, but anyway.

i fucking love fembot for hustling on GB with Kareia and Kento <333333

I would post that on a newspaper.. just email them the whole deal. I've been emailing some topics to the newspapers here and got a reference to the subject. A very small second to last page reference, but non the less.

They could add this to the SOPA debate as well, my only concern is that NOEZ case is use to get international approval. That would be the end of NOEZ, but batoto and a lot other websites as well.

So far, most scan groups have not succeed with the watermark so far. If that will make them worst than NOEZ, resorting to even more aggressive methods or taking the deal and get a bit of profit from this. This is my view since so far seems that the watermarks and references do not appear or most leechers just jump them without reading.

I really cannot condemn anyone for taking the "donation", i would only answer it like this: "Great, here is the link to donation only. I do have a job already if you are offering one. I still maintain my position and will not allow any work of mine on your website (with or without delay)."

I do see why they rip MS series, that would be about 60% of their views, i just can't see the need to rip the rest, are they so desperate?

except it isn't exactly a donation, it's an outright offer/trade to offer the group a monthly payment of $100 (or maybe more or less) but in return the group doesn't watermark releases heavily or troll mangafox/mangahere. By accepting that donation, you're effectively acknowledging/approving of mangafox/mangahere/mangareader ripping releases, ignoring delay/no-host policies and removing of credits/recruitment pages.

I do see why they rip MS series, that would be about 60% of their views, i just can't see the need to rip the rest, are they so desperate?

precisely, and it's not like they'll lose a lot when they set the bot to rip the release after the delay period...the better issue is, why do they even have to remove credits pages?

they don´t want people to visit the scans group, that would take some peole away and that would mean less money.
