From where this is going, i don't think that they will be able to reach the surface without a couple of casualties.................................any ideas on what is in that laptop?

Hmmm I always get the feeling that the company had another motive involving with the incident (perhaps to gain power?)

I'm seeing Event Horizon echoing very clearly in this, if that is the case, then most will die, some will turn evil, 2-3 people will escape, and the source of the evil will follow them to the surface.
