This is a discussion for the latest Scanlated Chapters of Orange Marmalade.

I liked this Chapter, finally Soo Ri stuck up for Ma Ri (er Vampires) So I like her again now :D hopefully they'll become friends again in the next few chapters.

I really like Soo Ri a lot, I hope we will get to see more of her. well even Ma Ri was surprised that Soo Ri stuck up to her so I think in the next chapter they will be friends.

I don't care for her one bit but i cant say it was her fault she was just ignorant i want to know whats gonna happen when the guy finds out ,im hoping that hell accept her but im sure its not gonna go smoothly

Pretty much. He'll accept her but like you said it either wont go smoothly, there will be a misunderstanding of some sorts. As will all Romance Manga.

Almost all. I've seen romance manga where they're totally into each other from the start and don't have much conflict between each other; story comes from a combination of them being lovey-dovey and shyly moving towards the next level and the next, and outside forces interfering with them. It's more common where it's forbidden love of some kind, like incest or yuri. They're usually nice stories.
But anyway, yeah, I'm looking forward to him finding out. The funny thing is I can almost see him finding it's a relief--it's like, oh, so she isn't totally crazy, she actually had reasons to act so weird, drive me away and so on. Once he knows, all he has to do is handle the truth and overcome her fear and she can accept him (and get some of his so-delicious blood, nom nom nom).

well thats the thing, we dont know why his mother left him when he was young. could it be that his father was a vapire, I mean his mother wasn´t bothered when she heard that Ma Ri is a vampire.

OK, chapter 40, my basic reaction--
One, two, three, Aaaawwwwww!!!!!
So sweet, finally she gets to "come out" to someone and be accepted for what she is. Huh, really makes the parallel to the troubles of gays come to the surface, eh what?
It's really nice seeing how bad Soo Ri feels about how she acted before.

well chapter 41, she has feeling for him but she doesn´t know what love is, at least thats what I think.

This is getting stale 41 chapters of her not wanting to realize that she loves him,i hope that she doesn't use the guy with the white hair to try to get more distance between them or another bad idea that is just gonna send this downhill. Not liking the direction its taking the romance is very slow

After her talk with ..whats her face.. I think she realizes she has feelings for him. She just doens't know how to react to them now. Just give it time.

there is definitely something about the teacher, I mean she knows about vampires and doesn´t react bad to them, also she said to that new student "since when have you gotten so big", so she clearly has something to do with vampires. I really think that Jung Jae Min´s father is a vampire.

Blrp? As of chapter 43, I have to admit I wasn't expecting that. I probably should have been, it's a not-uncommon plot complication for romance man(g/hw)a. But I totally wasn't. I thought there'd be problems when the new guy came into the school because people would know he was a vampire from the TV clip and there'd be prejudice and hysteria and Mae Ri and the redhead girl would be in an awkward position. And there were some worries he might put her in danger of exposure if he found out. But this? I hadn't a clue. Whoops.
So now what? We have a potential triangle.

I was also thinking he would put her into trouble because he could expose her. it really surprised me what the author did with this character. maybe the tv clip was to introduce the person to us, and let us have a first impression of him. but I think the others will know that he is the guy from the tv clip.

but you know that in the manga(hwa) world... the sarcastic smirk yandereish guy/girl that crashed into the mc house, pretty much aways wins at the end!

hmm, I dont think she will end with the vampire guy. I am sure her aunt will be on her side, so that she can choose with whom she wants to start a relationship.

Let's hope Ma Ri doesn't end up with the vampire guy. I wonder if Jae Min & him know each other... ?

Only if he does it at the beginning. Guys who appear in the middle of the story never, ever get the girl.

He won't, (obviously) but nothing wrong with adding him in for plot developments. He'll start going to her school now again (obviously) and so on~
Typical Manhwa, but still I like them ;3
