I can understand other monsters like maybe a water monster or slime, but a snake girl...that's kinda creepy.

because Snakes aren't mainstream... if you're trying to introduce a monmosu manga, you need to start we something beastly...
The author did a great job cause: Miia just topped every monster girl manga I have by being more than 60% beastly (topped those which just possesed a few fur, a pair of wings, horns, or ears. Okayado gave us THE ENTIRE LOWER PART BEING THAT OF A SNAKE ALONG WITH THE EYES AND THE EARS... The hair decs are a bonus...)

I think every Girl besides the Centaur and Lamia are far more creepy. Imagine those sticky slime without a form, the spider girl or a cursed armor(Dullahan) that is empty and moving around. Or the Harpy, which doesn't really look any human with those wings instead of arms and feathers.

Lamia and Centaur are demi-human(human upper body and animal lower half) and therefore should be the most appealing to a normal human because they have at least some sexual charactaristics a human woman has, otherwise your monster fetish has to be alot stronger (I exempt Cyclops/Giant/Zombie and Vampire from here since they are all humanoids with special characteristics and thus not really monsters!).

@3point: snakes have no outer ears(Pinna), he shouldv'e left the ears away and safe the larger ears for the Centaur and Harpy xD

Humans are known for they'r sexual behavior.
Everything where you can put something in or what you can put somewhere~
Is okay for us. Only ethics and the "self" is makeing a desicion not to do that or this.

I for myself am attracted to Centaur. But with less boobs and more sporty looks.
As i am attracted to sporty woman.

In fact.
Humans are attracted geneticaly to other humans most different from themself.
So if we got a harpy which is roughly less human then lamia/ centaur.
A human should be unconsiuss be attracted to that difference on a genetic level.

Other things are mor erelevant:
-healthy looks
-makeing one interested (partner view)
-etc.

If you simply need a birdbrain for a harpy/ Monstergirl substitue.. go out get some drunk, dress her up and whola~

Ps: Monstergirls aren't creepy. They'r just a bit different~ And if they end up eating you.... cannibalism isn't forbidden in japan if you use some loopholes.. as i got to know a few days back in tv.

As for us here, wasn't Lamia the usually most popular girl within places that got own interest in this specific branch of creations?
Part due to influence of Kenkou Cross, I believe.

It is my belief that Lamias as they're called are the most popular due to the idea they're the best cuddlers with their ability to wrap most of their body around you.

It's an ero game of extreme awesomeness. It's free to download too. Part 3 hasn't been released yet btw. Overall, it's kickass in so many ways

A few comments from a rather obsessive monstergirl fan:

MGQ is a very good game, but a bit too heavy on the vore side if you lose (still great though, if you can stomah vore everything else, such as the other sex scenes, is first-class), I'd recommend going for the more lighthearted monstergirl encyclopedia books made by kenkou cross (for english scanlations go either to http://monstergirlunlimited.net/forum/ or http://monstergirlsredux.com/).

 

Kenkou is practically the biggest monstergirl related author, Okayado draws a lot of influence from him, as an example, the dullahan mentioned here is actually a cameo of the one in the encyclopedia. The MGQ main lamia (as well as the basic blue slime and the slime general) is drawn by kenkou too (he's a part of torotoro resistance, which made the game).

Wel, as you said in your post, part 3 hasn't even been released in japan, there is a trailer though, you should follow rougetranslator (who made english patches for the revious games and plenty of side stories), in the meantime though there's a a crapload of fanmade games/sidestories/doujins.

Well, she just got introduced.  (YAY!  Arachne finally on scene!  But, I also just really like spiders.  Sorry you're afraid of them, though.  Many people are.)

I'm just hoping she ends up being an actual likable character.  Though I guess she's kind of got the villian vibe right now.

BAHAHAHA!!!  I had just read this thread on Friday, and when I saw those strands near the end of the chapter today, I laughed so hard that I almost blacked out from lack of Oxygen!
