So many good mangas without groups yet some groups steal from each other, why?

A long time ago, scanlation used to mean something: bring unknown manga to the masses. Nowadays kids just fight over manga for popularity and e-penis, some even profiting from it, losing their original goal. It's a sad state, really.

when i´m at baka-uptdates i see so many good mangas or interesting short projects that could be done but have no group, it´s sad, but i can´t complain much since i´m not part of any group

That might explain why I feel that lately the frequency and speed of chapter releases are longer than usual. Every time I visit my follows, the updates are practically non-existent.
