Have you read Vagabond, and or Slam Dunk? Real is by the same author who did those two projects. I haven't read Slam Dunk, but it feels like Real is a mix of those two. Really good.

LOL too scary for you. I stopped Vagabond around chapter 50, I just didn't feel like reading it. I read Slam Dunk it's really good but if you're looking for a sports manga read Whistle.

Both whistle and Slam Dunk have an anime and both are incomplete.

Yea, thats the best way I can put it. I can assure you Real, is more than a sports manga.
