I don't understand groups with a "Do not upload" policy, I mean scanlation groups won't be active forever. If they never upload their stuff anywhere and their groups disband, isn't their work lost? Of course they can do whatever they want with it but it's just sad, if you consider how much work is put into a single chapter. I'm probably missing some vital point and someone will probably tell me how dumb I am but still...I wanted to say it anyway! (>_<)

I think groups have a "do not upload" policy because they want some traffic on their own site, if Batoto hosted it, everyone would read it here instead of on their site.

Sites like Mangafox etc. will still steal their releases though. The chance that people will read it on Mangafox, rather than on the scanlator's site, is rather high. I mean, isn't that why Batoto was made in first place? Here scanlators can not only post their releases themselves but we also have links to their sites. It's much more likely people will visit their site from batoto, than after reading it on other online readers, especially if they have a delay on their uploads.
