well thats another of my favorite manga done.
I thought the Wedding Dress was nicely drawn.
<cries> Noooo! Another of my favorite mangas is done! T_T
love mushy endings :>
why do so many manga have their chapters end with "Fin" ?
is that some writing convention or because the raws were taken from the French version ?
A beautiful ending to a great manga!
Ends at chapter 31
Glad to see she's back and together!
What an adorable couple! They suit each other very well lol
Haha... now she's gotten really "fun" a split personality.. with both personalities always active. You just thought people had voices in their head.
I find multiple personalities in manga pretty cool, but not this one.
Honestly, the plot's ridiculously shallow and boring. Nothing surprises me ever.
Purple Library Guy: If you read my last post, you'll notice that I referred to to Shonen and Shoujo as works targeting specifc demographics, not genres. There are plenty of people who don't know the difference between a demographic and a genre. I am not one of them.

Also, chapter 21 was retarded. Suddenly there's a third personality somewhere, and everybody and their dog seems to know about it. Even the old woman who hasn't seen Maki in more than a decade is psychoanalyzing her. I'm not impressed with that development.
Well, let's face it Pax, labels like "shoujo", "shounen", "josei" and "seinen" aren't genres the way we think of them, not like "science fiction" or "romance" or "detective story". They're marketing categories. As such, what they're published in really is the last word in which one they are. We can say it's a shounen with some thematic elements seen more often in shoujo, such as the obvious one of a female central character, but that doesn't make it actually *be* a shoujo. Heck, it could be a tear-jerking classic emotional feminine romance, and if it was published in the shounen marketing category all we could really say would be "What were those shounen marketing folks THINKING, making a shounen that would obviously sell better as a shoujo?"
well shounen and shoujo merely describe a targetted demographic, it does little to actually change its contents (well the girl is very curvy so thats one thing, and theres a lot of "man humor" so i guess thats a sign that its targetting males). so if they say its a shounen, then hey who are we to argue, their the ones that did the marketing and production of the manga. if girls like it to, all the better for them. the reason why they target a demographic is because they want to survive in the magazine their published in ofc, and that magazine prolly has a particular fanbase.
The character designs and the plot focused on a girl's feelings and aspirations to be a housewife says "shoujo" to me. If you want to classify it as shonen based on the magazine it was published in, fine. It's got elements common to works targeting both demographics.
woah I luv this ...she kick azz when she changes her personailty it like she untouchable btw I totally hate tat 1 glasses guy who lookin 4 Maki also his group...I totally don't like tat batard at all not even 1 bit
@Pax Wmpyrian dude this is a shounen, it was serialized in Comic Blade which is a shounen magazine btw if you cant tell by the name -.-. it also shares many similarities of a shounen with a female lead but i wont go into that.
Boom!!!!!!
This is not shonen. It's still shoujo, even if there is action and fighting.

Remember how at the start, when it was like 80% insecure girl whining about her future and 20% badass yakuza chick kicking everybody's ass? Now the insecure whining girl is nowhere to be seen, and honestly I don't mind. The badass Maki is the best Maki.
Wait, how can this be Shoujo if its Shounen? Isnt that a contradiction?

WHICH ONE OF YOU DIVIDED BY ZERO YOU BASTARDS?!?!
Now that I think about it...who uses a diskette nowadays...
facepalm@Cydric

It's the same body, genius. The violent personality is more prone to crossing her arms which makes things look a little different, but her body is the same.
Posted Image QUESTION!!! If Maki changes to Other Maki does Other Maki have bigger boobs or does the innocent one have bigger ones?
I enjoy this one. Although it's shoujo, it doesn't spend so much time with the characters acting weepy and ineffectual that it becomes offputting to readers who aren't fans of the genre generally (like myself). Maki's Yakuza personality is a can of high-grade whoopass just waiting to explode when she gets pushed to far, so that's fun too.
You know, this is really not half bad. The premise is pretty cliche, but the plot moves along nicely, spins out enough complications but not too many to keep track of, and the main characters have, hrm, not depth exactly, but enough substance to have some internal conflict. And when Maki gets going she kicks butt pretty deuced well.
