I don't like stories about students getting together with teachers... especially 8th grade 14-year-old children. But this one has been pretty innocent enough that I can get past that and enjoy the great story. Looking forward to more chapters.

The style is reminiscent of Tolstoy's early works.

OK, the last couple of chapters definitely put it into another gear . . . it's getting really good. It's interesting the way the teachers themselves have relationships and interactions, and you don't know everything about what's going on there.

Pretty decent. It's kind of . . . quiet. It's running a pretty typical girl-loves-teacher, some poor schmuck of a boy loves the girl, teacher is holding back kind of setup. But it's doing it with a couple of notches less angst than usual.
