Nope. Wouldn't work like that. In fact, it seemed to me like "born on the day the previous dragon god died" only meant same day/month, not same year, and that there hadn't been a dragon god for quite a while, especially because the current three maidens doubted that the dragon god would come during their time (until the MC appeared).

 

Basically, the requirements for being a dragon god are: Your mother was one of the three maidens, and your birthday is the anniversary of the previous dragon god's death. No need for direct descendants.

But seriously, I HEAVILY doubt that there are going to be actual deaths here^^

We got death flags in Ai Yori Ayoshi too and none of the main cast died

The way it goes right now there are two possibilities:

1) He escapes with ONE of the girls (either Shizuku or Karin, I doubt it's gonna be Soyogi) and lives in Tokyo with her

2) Harem ending. 

    He escapes to Tokyo with all 3 girls (and I hope that that crazy granny gets arrested)

I suspect the locals want him to leave offspring before he dies, so they have another dragon to kill off in a few years. I wonder if his real father was perhaps the previous dragon god. Then again he was suppose to be born on the day the last dragon god died so I'm not so sure if it could work that way.
