I'm sad that the translator has retired, but I'm still thankful for all the work they have put into this!
I'm a huge fan of TRACE, and I'm glad I could keep reading more of it!

Hello, Kabuto93 from Deathtoll here. Unfortunately our lone Korean to English translator has retired and chapter 30 was the last chapter he had translated. If you like this series and know Korean, then please PM me either here or at http://www.deathtollscans.net and I'll give you a test.

That chapter was...meh. Kinda jumpy. I don't like the way our favorite druggie is making so many trace guards look like fodder - and mostly with offscreen action. #weaksauce. and now he's supposed to take on two Trace with uber abilities...so yeah. Things might be jumping the shark a bit.

Sadly it seems Death Toll needs a new translator for this awesome webtoon =(

Man this is amazing! I thought there was no way that the author could do better than the first trace series, but boy was I wrong! It's a shame that it's being translated so infrequently.

I "read" the whole webcomic on Daum, so I kinda have an idea about what's going to happen.

okay, so apparently they don't have a psych test required to get into high-level govt. positions, but I guess that a complete psychopath wouldn't have much trouble fooling the system. also, for every manwha/manga/webtoon I've read, the original honorifics always sound more natural...and they give a much more sophisticated sense of how the characters are viewed and how they view others than simply "Mr." and "Mrs". Another thing, maybe this is just me, but when I first started reading trace I thought/hoped that the jjang girl was going to be the main character, but then it turned out to be that beggar guy. Ah well, It's still a great webtoon, so my thanks to the traslator(s) and co.

Trace was the 1st webtoon I ever read thanks for your hard work on the Sequel.

@PervySageChuck - Yep, and thanks for the update. I don't think anyone else is actively translating Trace 1.5, so it's nice that Death Toll is putting in the effort. It'd be a shame if Trace's sequel couldn't reach an English-speaking audience.

Oh, and @FudgeNouget - Korean honorifics feel more customary for a Korean manhwa. While some English titles have a nice aesthetic in their own context, they don't convey the nuances.

Thanks to the both of you and everyone else whose interest in this series keeps Death Toll working on it!! I wish that we could get this out more often than we are right now, but we are doing our best for you guys.

We are like almost every other scanlation group, in that we are always competing for skilled staff members in what is an admittedly limited supply situation. And remember, Scanlating is a hobby that we ENJOY doing and NOT something that we have to do. In fact, most staff members are either still in school working towards their eventual career or already have careers, both situations having a limiting effect on how much time that they can devote to this hobby. So anyone out there with decent skills willing to help would definitely help us get this and our other series out to you guys faster.
