He knew the other guy would totally cheat like crazy, so the only way is to change the ratio of pieces in the table. The president thinks Kaiji has a particular hand, and Kaiji knows which hand it is, but then he took some extra pieces and made a different wait. There can be no complaints since the other pieces are unknown, right?

I went FUCK YEAH at that "shut up" moment in chapter 121. Kaiji interrupted Kazuya when he was in the middle of some analogy - that has to be downright embarrassing. Kazuya's reaction made it even better; despite his constant grin, you can tell how mad he was when he called for ten black suits. Perhaps it's something psychological, like a complex?

I also like how Muraoka seems to barely be able to contain his laughter when talking about how that "foolish wife" of his might start suspecting that "he's cheating on her"... It's like he's not-so subtly teasing Kaiji for the latter's earlier accusation. But I have to hand it to him, he's a great con man - that plan of his was brilliant.

As for Miyoshi and Maeda, those two really are clueless. I couldn't help but smile when they congratulated Muraoka on his marriage. Together with the prez they're like the three swindling stooges. If this gets an anime adaptation, I'm hoping for a metaphor where they're portrayed as empty-eyed zombies grunting "5 million..." when they try to prevent Kaiji from entering the room.
