Reason for why Korean Manhwas never get finished:

1. Manhwa is deemed children's stuff so it doesn't really sell well

2. Korea is land of the pirates. People pirate everything so the industry decreased quite a bit.

3. authors earn next to nothing in Korea. So a lot of them move to Japan for debut.

I'm going to learn Korean and just point out all the stupid shit he has done. He should just finish all of his axed manga's and never do anymore again.

I really need to punch Im Dal-Young, all his best works just seem to just fall off and get forgotten then he tries starting something new, its like he has a pathological fear of completing a story.

Can I just vent a little here? I HATE the fact that the author, Im Dal-Young, cannot seem to finish any of his manhwas. It's such a disappointment. I truly enjoy several of his creations only to have them sit in limbo indefinitely, never to be completed. I wouldn't even care if it was a less than satisfactory ending, I just want that sense of completion in a story.

 

Still, I'll keep on waiting and hoping.

@Ncf, the ending for the novel is a "wtf" ending, but I've read somewhere on here or somewhere else that the manga will have a different ending.

@Ncf, lol, the light novel had the absolute grandest troll ending in the history of mankind. Kinda like building a long bridge over a river for an invasion campaign, then realizing that 20 meters down the river, the water is only knee-deep.

I read somewhere here a long time ( in the comment section) that this had a novel adaptacion, is it true? if so was the ending any good?

well the manga is on hiatus... for whatever strange reason there is in the world how can for example Freezing sell better which doesnt even have a good story than this... well but its his fault too for killing of the characters in the manga half through the story suddenly... ( yeah they still live ) but it just sucks with this plot

I wonder when we'll finally figure out what "Meldra's true powers released?!" actually means...

Why is the manga on hiatus? Any idea when it's coming back? Can't wait to find out how Felix and Felicia will be reunited in the future.

I just picked this one up and read it all in two days . The plot reminds me a lot of Mahou Tsukai Kurohime, but this manwha is so much better.

Does Freezing even have a story? I hope he comes back to Maian soon.

@Jed Lasmarias money dear, money..if one of his new titles has succes he'll work on that and put the others on hold / drop them. Thats my impression of IDY so far...

@Cylith i tought the legend of maian was on hiatus not the scanlators dropped it,since Im Dal-Young is overworked with all the titles that he's doing. he event did gave an half-assed ending to Onihime VS.

sc-scans peeps had trouble IRL or something, and sakicow jumped on it. So you got you fix sooner. sc only does this by the volume, while sakicow will use magazine raws. Here the quality difference between the two isn't much, and the translations are nearly the same. sc just put these two out cause they were done. they'll be caught up soon. still gotta wait several months for vol 15 (which isn't out, ch 75 was in a magazine that has since gone webtoon-only).

You guys complain like this when your other manga are released by other language groups too?

i believe its not on haitus but simply the scanlaters wait for the book the to come out and then they begin there translation
