I'd really appreciate if you point out which conversations sound out of context. That will help me to do better translation in the following chapters.
For me everything is clear, but that must be because I've read the story many times. :\
wait up... so did the group fall apart and they ended up in different eras? Does the flag at the end mean someone ended in samurai era?
Ugh, I think it must be re-read in one go to follow the plot... some parts are confusing. I suppose its hard to translate such things from japanese, some meanings might get lost in translation - thats why some conversations seem out of context or random.
This manga is still ongoing in Japan, its up to 10 volumes over there. Cant wait to find out what they go through, hopefully it gets better for them.

So this is what’s clear to me. Setsuko-chan, stopped running from time and decided that she would live in that era, and because she did so, once the waters of time touched her she became an adult, and the woman we see in the middle of chapter 41.
The mother disappeared one, because she was running away from reality or two, adults where not welcome in that era, whichever it was, time engulfed her child as well, and that’s the child we see holding Setsuko-chan’s hand.
So that lady carrying the baby, got caught up with time and withered away and died for nothing...
