Actually, the comedy part >tomoki throws out all angeloids IS indeed part of the main story line. That is what makes this story special, even the comedy parts are still somehow connected to the main story. Just you wait..

 

 

Now CHAOS absorbed tomoki's "hidden" knowledge. she knows what to do. That is why tomoki could not remember his past with sohara. He somehow "knows" how to "reset". Tomoki just does'nt realize this yet.

It just occurred to me.  HIyori died in the movie.  And she now dies in the manga.  She's fated to die, isn't she?

Ok, this was definitely too much (even though it's evident that Tomoki will survive somehow), but poor Chaos. Just how much grief and despair must she endure? just give her a happy route already Minazuki!
