| Description: | Kino Hime is a 15 year-old girl who just started her first year in a high school for voice actors (Seiyuu) called Hiiragi Academy. She dreams of becoming the voice of the main character in one of the most popular series in Japan, "Magic Fighter Lovely Blazers". The academy is the number one school which allows students to make their voice acting debuts and also includes other departments such as general education, sports, music, acting, and art. Of course this Academy is full of celebrities, too. Two of Hime's upperclassmen are none other than the two rising idols of the group "Idol Unit AQUA". But Hime's dream is hard to fulfill. Her voice is not really suitable for a voice actress and her new classmate Kudou Senri doesn't waste time in pointing that out. Will Hime prove everybody, especially Senri, what she is capable of despite the first appearance? |

It was a really good manga. The characters were adorable and the all the seiyuu stuff was actually nice. The ending did provide us with enough closure. The main pair developed quite nicely (most Senri). However, there was so much content yet to explored, it was kinda disappointing. This had the potential of being one the best shoujo I've read but as it is, it was remarkable at most.
Of things yet to be unveiled:
Since the mangaka started a sequel of her previous series (S.A., just saw on MU), there may still be hope for this one to have a sequel as well. Or not, since S.A. managed to get an anime adaptation and I don't have the slightest idea of how popular Seiyuu Ka was. I can only hope.
Waiting for Minami-sensei next work....
Poor mizuki if only they make a side story of him being introduced to hime's friend

I too want to see a longer story..
But remembering manga from my childhood, I remember that the stories were mostly about the 'journey', and the conclusion is usually a time skip. Though these kind of endings always remind me of Mx0.. sigh..
Btw why is it lovely lazer at the end =p
This was a great series, I hope Minami Maki's next work will be great as well.
