I would say this story is Anti-Cliche. Especially in chapter 3 where they bring up the tired old "I want what's best for you so I'm going to act cold and make you think I don't like you" crap and her response to that is the sort of Befriending that would make Nanoha Proud, on the very next page!

Also it's nice to see a story where the rich super elite school team the dogged underdogs from the troubled school went up against is still made up of decent people.

One thing I like: A lot of shoujo where the girl is strong they eventually cop out on it. She's not as tough as the guy, she needs his protection, maybe she wimps out on the tomboyish stuff and learns to want to be all prettied up for him yadda yadda. This one doesn't.

I don't mind cliche if it's done well and Shiraishi Yuki tends to make typical shojo really adorable.... so I guess I like it

(I agree with Dousirou about the cover, though.)

The cover is a misleading first impression, nothing like that in the manga. It's pretty standard shoujo fare... aside from the fact that nozomi is tomboyish and loves working on cars. But I like that setting.

haha xD, it really looks like a gang rape, oh dear. But it is totally harmless and I also could predict everything, but the setting is somewhat interesting.
