Tired of MC =_= for someone to deny his otaku side to the point where he's letting his grades drop, I cannot continue reading this!

@TsunX The fang thing is meant to make a character look cuter, it's not limited to mischievous characters. Though, more than anything it's just a style that some people like, and the artist is clearly one of those people.

As for the pose... Well how fitting it was is debatable. I didn't notice anything off about it until you pointed  it out, but I kind of agree.

yeah i know. Didnt click the link, but i know from some source (probably that one) that in japan its cute when girl's canines protrude, so they emulate that in manga. Though, imo, its much cuter in manga....irl its a bit of a turn off for me at first glance. Easily overlooked though. Also know that its not solely for the mischievous girls. But normally the mischievous ones will have them as well. Just much more subtly. But yeah, normally the stuff wouldnt bother me. But when i saw the fang in the middle of her mouth like she had one sharp tooth to her name, and when i saw that pose, i couldn't stay silent

If this was shojo, then it be unbearable.

this manga is really fucking up the trademark of manga. It's used in all the wrong places here.

By how much effort she exerts, I hope Koigasaki gets something from her pursuit of Suzuki, that is not finding love with Kashiwada or something like that.

It's going realllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyy.. Slow...

While I can handle the general personality of the main character, there is one facet of him that continues to grate me. I dislike how much he idolises his crush. I understand seeing them in a positive light, but he is basically putting her on a pedestal. He keeps thinking, "Oh, she's a special girl!" I'm sure the girl is far from perfect, but if he keeps acting like a worshipper than a love interest, there is never going to be any feasible progress in attaining a romantic relationship with his crush!

Given, I'm unsure how it's supposed to go in real world but I don't think he's idolizing his crush. He's simply smitten by Hasegawa's look and wishes to see her smile. I'm certain that at some point in life, we have a crush on someone simply for their look. Rather than love, I suggest 'like' is a more appropriate term. Kashiwada(?) is ridiculed by girls before, led to believe that being an otaku is akin to social outcast and doesn't have much friends to mingle with and have a normal school life. I'm convinced that he simply wants to experience 'love' rather than genuinely loving someone.

I do hope Kashiwada do end up with Hasegawa.

PIMP ALERT PIMP ALERT, that guy was probably baptised in the cologne water of "The most interesting man in the world" to have that much swag.

I can only hope that:

Kashiwada ends up with Hasegawa

Koigasaki ends up with Suzuki

and that the author is good enough to pull it off without it looking like total shit at the end(go read Sexless Friend if you don't understand what I mean).

Hide my power level? Never. But it depends what you mean--I've never felt that nerd/otaku-ness implies I have to work hard at looking scruffy or forget to bathe.

I just believe in applying my own rather personal, eccentric style. In my case that means long hair, beard, purple shirt, jacket, backpack and above all purple beret. Sometimes on special occasions I'll drop the purple and go with black beret and white or black puff-sleeved shirt.

More like this manga is seemingly more realistic, thats what makes it fun.

Hiding your power level? Of course, to a certain degree. Balancing the Riajuu life and the Otaku life is the key to a successful life.

Do you guys hide your power level in public?

While I agree that physical appearance can be important when dealing with other people (not just restricted to dating, meeting clients, representing your company, etc.), I personally don't like the direction this manga is going, because I disagree strongly with the very anti-individual societal expectations in Japan.  

I personally hope this ends up blowing up in his face and he learns (the hard way) that you'll never be happy by denying who you really are.  I find it amusing how he will take this direction for the sake of "false" happiness when "true" happiness is found within, but I suppose that's just youthful folly.
