just saw the proposed idea of constitution for the demon world, are we seeing the creation of the Rights of Man, Bill of Rights and some kind of United States in the Demon World here ???Because it would be AWSOME!!!
I think the Demon world is loosely based off all areas that wouldn't be considered Europe. After all, Maou brought potatoes from the demon world. Potatoes were developed by the Incas in South America. She brought corn over as well, which hailed from the Maize developed by natives in Eastern North America. On top of that, the Giant clan seems have a resemblance, to me anyway, to the statues on Easter Island off the coast of Chile or maybe some African culture with the lengthened ear lobes.

As far as I can tell, there are the Japanese inspired Ogre clan, the Mongol-Jurchen-Tangut-Other-nomad-dudes-up-on-the-steppes-of-Asia inspired Beast Fang clan, Chinese inspired Dragon clan and the Arab inspired Blue Demon clan.
Humanoid and Giant clans, idunno. Maybe something along the lines of Indian/South-Asian or ancient Tibetan inspired? Anyone have any insight on this?

Would be whacked if this turns out like one of those mangas with prominent figures having special powers battling over one thing with something. We'd have a demon tournament with rank ladders and all, a huge crowd of blood thirsty onlookers and grand fights full of pizazz and whatnot.
I like the old school RPGish vibe with the setting, but with all of the delicious intricacies. I'm sure it won't boil down to some silly simple power struggle. It's probably going to be tastefully complicated.

Hmmm... the Human World is westernish and the Demon World is easternish, it seems.
Well, believe it or not, this version of the adaption is the "bastard" version while the anime follow the "canon" version. But I'm glad ppls are starting to see that this particular version of the LN is the best by far (a more fitting art style, dialogue's smooth and plentiful without being overstated, good balance of tension, the character feels more organic, etc...).
*note: all versions are "true" version, but the publisher decided to pick that one to base the anime on instead of this one T.T
Must cleanse myself of the impure thoughts of Older Sister and Female Magician from the various scenes. One is so pure and developing nicely while the other is a pure troll but a true friend
And Hero there is nothing wrong with the harem route. A different flavor each night would do you good.
On a more serious note, I love how this manga just draws you in and when you reach the last page you scream "MORE!!!!"

The comments of Female Magician about the ample, pretty and teeny bosoms of the ladies in Maoyuu was priceless.
But the best line came from Female Knight: "Stop bragging about your soul getting drawn by gravity!".
Talk about jealousy.
