Maken-Ki!

I'm assuming Takeru is a descendent of Kodama's brother lineage (there is some foreshadowing of this, since she confuses him with her brother at one point). I'm assuming based on ch 51 or something that will be explained soon, Kodama became a god or whatever when she got possession of her mothers powers, but her brother remains a human (and his linage eventually leads to Takeru).

I'm assuming Ouken is also NOT Kouso, but again, a decedent of his that somehow gets posessed by him (maybe Kouso is able to achieve a semi-godhood by preserving his soul but not his body, and passes his soul down his linaege along with his power - If i remember correctly it said early on that the current Ouken was did not "pass down" his soul collector ability down his lineage which was the norm and instead kept it. There is obviously 2 Oukens since its stated several times that the current one is fake (and the real one made a short cameo before he was completely possessed)

Hate it how they always bring forth the "isn't even human" argument in a lot of supernatural manga... as if there would be anything shameful or bad about not being human. If a guy like Ouken would be a representative of humanity, isn't it a good thing not to be human?

Just wanna bring up this post again after the recent chapters, cause it looks like that was the point.

I mean even after 20 years he's still look young due to blood pointer.

what are you talking about in most mangas the word "harem" doesn't mean harem, it just means that there are a bunch of girls around him thats all, it don't mean crap! now if it was a true "harem" then i would be happy but it anit so ....

From the translation on this page http://www.batoto.net/read/_/164155/maken-ki_v9_ch50_by_imperial-scans/19, they have different names, so one of them is 'blood pointer' - soul game, or soul convergence.

 

After reading over some more, I'm going to assume Takeru is descended from Oousu, and that crazy basterd Ouken from Kousu.

To be fair though, if I got a Himegawa-lookalike Himegawa's mother, I would also forget about that Haruko-lookalike big breasted whatever-her-name-is pretty easily. Feudal Takeru just happened to have excellent taste.
