Meh, my guess is if Rano does throw Lessa away, Ares will still punish him, 'cause if you think about it he's telling the guy to do the EXACT same thing that he hates humans for. Sounds like... IT'S A TRAP!

Edit: testing him sounds more right, at least more so than a trap.

Yeah, I think Ares' story is pretty suspect. I'm thinking Lessa is being blamed for some sort of demonic attacks that Ares' has been perpetrating (possibly plotting out the whole thing in an effort to make Lessa understand that humans wouldn't accept him and only Ares~ is there for him). I imagine that Diane heard about attacks by some sort of "horned monster" and (mistakenly) put two and two together when she saw Lessa's transformation.

We need more information, this much doesn't cut it, especially since it's being told from Ares' point of view and he might hold onto some information. I don't understand why he didn't run in and butchered all of the mob attacking Iessa either, pretty sure he would have done that any other time.

Ofc Ares killed her sibling or something... That is obvious.

I dont blame Ares anymore. Can see why now he hates them so much. 

I wonder if that was the full story though.....I really want to know why...
