Please let this be Translated the whole way to vol 20

Spoiler

For some reason, I just suddenly thought of going into a new business venture.  I'll have to put a sign in the front yard advertising "Free breast exams for the early detection of cancer!!  Knock on door and ask for Ol' Pervy!!!"

The disease was first called cancer by the Greek physician Hippocrates (460-370 BC). He is considered the "Father of Medicine." Hippocrates used the carcinos and carcinoma of the terms to describe tumors ulcer formation and deformation of non-ulcer. This means in Greek drift angle. The description was names after the drift angle because finger-like projections ranging from a cancer called to mind the shape of a drift angle.

The Later Roman physician, Celsus (28-50 BC) the Greek term translated the Greek term to cancer, the Latin word for drift angle. It was Galen (130-200 AD), another Roman physician, which used the term oncos (Greek for swelling) to describe tumors. Oncos is the root word for of oncology the study cancer.

In this chapter, Jin feels Nokazes pain...and breasts.

Ladies don't worry! I know how to feel up diagnose cancer! Your breasts are in good hands. XD

Yes, they did know about cancer.

Anyway, I hope he doesn't lose Saki! Marry her instead, man!

They knew about cancer in that time period?

while its true that a tension pneumothorax is diagnosed clinically, you have to listen to the patient's chest and feel his neck before making the diagnosis. it would be pretty magical if just staring at someone's face and neck gave you the diagnosis.

next chapter, he'll probably stab his chest with a syringe-like device.

I know it's for the sake of the story and all..but it seems almost funny how forced the accidents are that haunt Jin wherever he goes :P

lol... the last scene made me wonder if the doctor is faking it for the lulz.

http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Dr._Jin THe Korean live action drama premiers tonight in my country. Didn't even know that there was a drama series about it. Looking forward to watching it. :)

Ugh... I'm unbearably squeamish when it comes to realistic injuries and internal organs... :wacko:
But I still can't stop reading this, it's just too good!  ^_^

Spoiler

I don't know the first thing about medicine (or about the history of Japan for that matter);

I don't care about those medical dramas in TV or even the documentaries;

I have a trauma of medical schools from when I was taken by a relative to visit their University as a kid and ended up stumbling upon the Anatomical Studies room that was (naturally, seeing our tour was in between periods) filled with dead bodies;

I scoffed at the premise, started reading as a joke and laughed at the ridiculous Deus Ex Machina that kickstarted the plot.

And yet... Every single time this gets updated I find myself reading it, and above all, enjoying it...

I think the point I'm trying to make is: Even if you think something is moronic, even if you have perfectly good reasons to turn a series down, or that you won't understand it sometimes you just need to break down your preconceptions and give it a shot and, who knows, you might find a series that is seriously worth your time. Well, that's just me anyways.

...No matter where they are from, how old they are...

...RESPECT THE FIREFIGHTERS.

I love this series. 5/5 stars.

well it was certainly time for his well earned reward but dat fire is going to ruin it..
Way to go doc!

Too bad the fire is going to interrupt everything... like always. *shrugs*
This is so much better than the drama.
nooo doctorrrr whyyyyy
Yes! a new release!
LoL!! I didnt the korean drama Dr Jin is base on the japanese manga! I watched the drama a while ago and it was quite good. Looking forward to read the manga... ^_^
