Now that we know a little bit more about Kirishima's side of the past, I have to say Asada shouldn't have shoved all his accomplishments at that guy. Asada was just being selfish, not wanting to get mixed up in the politics. Then again, Kirishima shouldn't have let him.

In other news, I've always thought Noguchi was cold-blooded. Now I see it's because he's part lizard.

I'd like to point out that some patients can actually hear what is being said around them even while under anesthesia. Although I doubt this would be the case; it would be humorous

Depends on the level of it, I've had to get surgery due to breaking my finger before, and since they only anesthetized the finger area only (and pretty much tie up the arm) I was awake and could even feel a bit in my finger (no pain, but more like a feeling of something poking here n there)

Noguchi is without a doubt one of the most evil character I have ever read in manga.

Wow, Prof Palpatine was quite badass in this chapter! Well, he is the hospitals leader for a reason!

It's funny that they're sitting there having political discussions and the patient is sitting there unaware of all of this.

He never uses his powers for good, only for his own selfish means. His means happened to be aligned with popular opinion this time, that's all.

starting to get proficient in political now.. ijuuin might be good to have at the top if all his battles to get there will be like this one.

That left me on the edge of my seat, now to patiently wait for the next update to see how the rookie tries to make the veteran look really stupid in front of his boss.

i don't really care what happens during that surgery, i just hope ijuuin will take the lesson that politician is trying to teach to heart. it's about time he chooses which one to put his trust in, a cold guy who remembers people's name so they can be easily used in a political scheme, or a genius who remembers someone's skill rather than their name but at least has some care for his patients...

in my eyes ijuuin is just like a grown up tree in a bonsai garden
