Gah... What a ridiculous waste of time. :\

The premise and the setup was pretty good, but then after a while it all just went to shit. Rushed, zero character development, deus ex machinas left and right, the "romance" between the main "couple" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever (not to mention the stupid choking idiocy at the end leaving it at a ridiculous point), the battles at the end are so over-inflated that it's impossible to care about them and it even ends in a cliffhanger. What. is. even. the. fuck?! -.-'

Seriously, I loved the hell out of the first ten or so chapters, when the author actually did sensible stuff, like character-building and setting up the world of Chaos, the art was great and the protagonist's struggle was relatable to a degree (and I especially loved how he pretty much hated Serin for dragging him into this mess), hell, even some of the comedy was pretty good... but then everything, and I do mean, EVERYTHING went to shit in a great spiral of awful. A bloody shame, I tell you. :\

Take note that sequel was in desciption if you ever feel need(it started kindna weird but keep read it you will see why on later chapters.............

this series is pretty good but I have to agree it does feel kinda rushed... It would have been nice if the author "wasted" more time on the school front and developed more the friendship and romance part ( I don´t mean creat a harem but still show a few more moments not just I feel in love with out of nowhere)

It felt rushed at the end, even at the beginning the poor brother was just left without having anything said to him by the older one..

I do like how the main protagonist acts towards the main female.. after all she ruined his life by 'accidentally' killing him, then wants him to leave his younger brother alone when she brings him back to life..

Also the character development was nonexistent near the middle, I assume it's because it's a short season 1 - but even with 15 more chapter it could had been a LOT better.

Not a critic but I'd give this a 6-10 (mostly for good art/character design and overall story idea)

finished reading, and I have mixed feelings on this one. First off I love the art, and design of the characters, though at some points the characters seem to blend, mostly with the main character, as I mistaken him with other characters a few times. The direction of the story is solid, but that's it, the rest of the story falls apart later on because it lacks a ton of character envelopment. The characters never quit get passed their setup, and near the end they just becomes bland as the character seem to just be there to fill in a role, or to fill in an empty space. it gets worse with the male and female protagonist, as they are character I have seen done better in other comics, and their chemistry is more bipolar then roller-coaster, as they never have a reason to even like each other, nor hate.

love the art, but the Author failed to make the characters live. I'll check out "Cavalier in the Abyss" see if the author improves a second time around.

The story is okay up to around chapter 34 or 35 and then it turns into confusing. It feels rushed in most chapters, and many details that should be there to build the storyline are simply too short or not there at all.
More time should have been taken to expand the characters or the world, since their is a sequel I admit I wonder if this is just a after story prequel.

Parts don't always add up either with things I don't trust you anymore, how can someone trust someone they didn't trust in the first place in a mere few storyline days?

Characters are faded into obscurity, even main characters.

This is nearly the weakest Korean Manhwa I have read so far.

It's been such a long time since I last read Immortal Regis. It never fails to disappoint. But, I never finished Cavalier of the Abyss. I read the first part and for some reason never returned. Anyways, I absolutely love these two series.

Good series although only thing i didn't like was that although their love could of progressed it was cock blocked by those two spirit type people

they finally uploaded the first series.nice.

This is one of the best korean manga I've ever read. highly recommended!

PS: There is a sequel called "CAVALIER IN THE ABYSS"
But, make sure to read Immortal Regis first.
