Well I think this is the answer that you seek:

RogZiel WHAT?!?!
Oh no! There has to be a way for a Poison Princes to live on in the lands she's been sent to. Or else why would that line repeat so much in the manga?
horror and Tragedy and
Psychological thetags i hate to see all in on manga
please let this be a happy ending one :'(
too much sin that need to be forgiven.
This is not a happy manga. Still, I love it.
Damn... poor lycorish. Now all I need to do is wait another 5 months to see what comes next. :'(
You 3! Hurry up and take over that little poisonous country and feed Lycoris!
T-T so cruel...
@shyisc--By the way, I am quite aware of who the main character is, thanks ever so much. Don't try to condescend to me, I get more hauteur than you possess free with my breakfast cereal, to paraphrase Zaphod Beeblebrox.
My memory is apparently playing tricks; looks like she's still alive. So far. It's odd though . . . in ch. 8, p. 16 we have Lycoris stopping the maid from touching her bedding, and the manga establishes the protocol of how her bedclothes and such are supposed to be burned with nobody touching them, lest they be poisoned (perhaps slowly), although the maid is fobbed off with the explanation of it being a "custom". And in ch. 10, p. 12-14, the maid, not understanding the danger, decides to keep some of her pretty clothes as a treasure, and hugs them. I must have mentally filled in the expected consequences.
A few chapters later there is a brief scene where the maid complains about always seeming to have a cold now or something. I gotta figure at this rate she'll be taking ill pretty soon.
@Purple Library Guy: The main character is lycoris. Non of her maids die in the first 22 chapters. In fact, so far no one has died because of her. There was one guy who got caught luking around Belladona and was executed, but she was in no way responsible for his death. He was a food-testing slave, not a maid.

@duchess: I was talking about the maid, not the princes.
I found the story that I mentioned about. Back before Batoto existed, this thread started on Mangafox.

A7xspazz delivered the Rappaccini's Daughter by Nathaniel Hawthorne to compare.
It didn't seem like much at first. Sure it had an interesting conception, and poignant impression, but it lacked the emphasis that would make it a good read . . . so I thought. However, it gets pretty intense later on -- especially when the arc of the three+one princes really get going. Those chapters were chillingly delicious.
I've been following the story. It's actually an adaptation of an old European story I think. -can't remember the name of it right now- It's quite tragic.
Hm, no, I'm pretty sure it does happen in the first 19 chapters. It only gets a few pages, but it makes her feel more sad, isolated and inhuman.
@shyisc the brother princes are introduced in chapter three...
@Purple Library Guy: That doesn't happen in the first 19 chapters. Are you giving us spoilers from chapters that have yet to be scanlated?
This is a very interesting manga. Occasionally I find details of the plot and the relationship between the brother princes get confusing. But the basic concept is original and the sense of tragedy and danger surrounding the characters is well drawn. Just existing as a "poison princess" means you can never touch anybody . . .

And wow, is she toxic. It really gets driven home when
