Yes, it is set in the same world as Angelic Layer. This story is a bit deeper than that one, though.

So... are chobits set in the same world as angelic layer? Or is it something like a arallel world or something?

Thanks for uploading, its a really fun read. Gave away my copies a few months ago, and I've been itching to reread it, if only to get some of Clamp's adorable art. Still excellent, and somewhat nostalgic actually, looking back on it. I remember dreaming that someday I would have a Chobit of my own, with how fast technology was moving.
Fun and interesting characters, cute and free-flowing art, and a silly-but-serious story that tugs at the heart and draws out the laughter. What more could you want?
And I still love the still-frame moments between the chapters, they make the characters feel even more alive and real with the frame-by-frame capture of their actions.
Thank you again, its a treasure to have on the site.

XD I remember watching this back in middle school. There were a lot of references/innuendos that I didn't get back then...

Ah, good old Chobits! Have to admit I've never read the manga version, just watched the anime. It was a good one. Kind of silly and fanservice-y a good bit of the time, but somewhere mixed in there they actually did some decent SF and pretty touching romance. And hey, some of the silly was pretty hilarious. Uber-naive girl robot walking down the street chanting "Pant-su, pant-su, pant-su!" . . . you had to be there.

Hmm.. Here's something I haven't seen in a while.. Time to reread.
