looking at Hime and her gramps, it appears to me that centaurs were the warrior/samurai or lordly class in the past and were displaced when that era ended. quite different from the situation in europe (slavery and revolution)?

Also, I thought centaurs are NOT slaves in Japan. They even do fancy archery traditionally. Why is that old lady being like that?

I think for Japan there was just a lot of bloody conflict between the centaurs and the angels, and the centaurs probably just got the short end of the stick when japan finally unified. Let's just say that the centaurs commonly got the peasant treatment because they were easier to keep out of places, and they were better able to do farming then the other groups.

Why is ch.29 not in black pages, if it's history? If not (as the 'news' imply), I know there's a war out there, but that centaur business is just not modern warfare.
