To further add to this, I dont think spending $5 on these novels that you like (support the writer) is alot to ask. Also, it will lead to these distributors in importing other series that we've been waiting for to be translated (there needs to be a market people; supply and demand). We all cant just sit here and complain for the translators to pick up a project when they have millions of other projects and complain about slow releases. Translators have lives too... I think.

The light novels for this series is being translated and released in America. You can find the first 5 novels on Amazon or AbeBooks for about $5 each. I believe the whole series is expected to be completely released by 2014.

Look at wikipedia/mangaupdates entry. There's a bunch of adaptations that's already complete, but not all are available in English (except the anime)

no it wasn't axed, just stopped translating. If your interested watch the movie but watch the OVA first. Basically that's the meat of the story.
