Yeah, back in like ancient times, but during the Middle Ages the King would remarry and generally behead/imprison his first wife - if a previous wife was 'lucky' she'd be imprisoned in one of the Kings estates.

I think they said earlier somewhere that she only married Hodr because he needed a Queen. That was it. Purely political. Like everyone said, they never slept in the same room even. Sigyn never had feeling for Hodr.

He needs a queen = he needs an heir, so it kind of defeats the purpose if he's not doing anything.

But sigyn never flirted with hodr nor they spent night together, it was said that both of them have their own bedroom, so we can assume that she is still virgin. Also it was mentioned that she married hodr so noone would try and hit on her, you know being protected as queen and shit

I believe the main reason for the marriage on her side was for scientific reasons, she was highly intelligent and one of the best researchers so being queen would allow to have a lot freedom and power in that regard.

Rygart better save that princess too, this series doesn't have enough female characters as is.

I think Hodr probably refers to Rygart's trauma of been an un-sorcerer and that he himself does't thing he should have kids as is very possible that his kids will be un-sorcerers like he is and he does't what them to have to go for the same things as he has.

I also think that he fears the idea of like someone and have then ether live as he does or be remind of his on short comings seen how they can use magic and he can't and makes him feel useless.

Basically he already thinks he is not good and his friends know it and can figure what he is thinking as he is that simple minded and there for thinking he is protecting his friends end up hurting them instead...

Why is there so much NTR talk? It's not NTR if the girl originally liked the guy she isn't with now.

It's only NTR if the girl is in love (or) likes the guy she's with, then another guy comes and uses some underhanded method to get the girl while the 1st guy remains oblivious.

I hate NTR's - this is definitely not one, Sigyn liked Rygart in school, it wasn't until Rygart left did she get with Hodr - but she never stopped liking/loving Rygart it was just due to their positions she wasn't able to be with him.
