You're culture is mis-interpreted? that's a laugh, considering you're "culture" continues to go along with the slave labor. Dalits? Untouchables? (that's worse then slavery by the way, at least the african americans had it easy compared to being an untouchable) You remember them? Yea, you may have been born into a high caste, but you sure as hell didn't earn it.The biggest irony of it all? The tradition of continuing the caste has nothing to do with the religion hinduism.

I by chance found this manga , the author Miyashita Akira has dug a treasure trove from Indian culture . I as a fellow higher brahman really feels proud of our
ancient Drawin sages to create and maintain that society , which today is mis-interpreted and we were plagued by communal violence in recent past .
But one thing the author made mistake is we brahmans are not ordinarily warriors but are priest and learned administrators,researchers,doctors(kaviraj) ,whereas kshatriya's were the warriors .

Since this is just the beginning I think it's quite good. And I can definitely see this getting much better. Plus, I don't think Hokuto no Gun would pick a manga that wasn't cool.
