@TetsuDan, I'm sorry, but a myriad of sexologists would call your overly simplistic definition of human sexual orientation utterly faulty.

P.S. To everyone else; I apologize profusely, but I just had to post this.

Come on. It supposed to be scifi, don't bother it with real science~

Seriously, it will just simply annoy you.

I like the rural setting, it somehow give a post-apocalyptic feel.

Other interesting thing is Kenji's weird way of thinking.

I'm not sure about the manga though.

I'll wait for a few next chapter for now.

The one thing that bothers me is that with artificial insemination, we can already choose the gender of the child. Additionally, the process in which sperm is made ensures that there's an even number of x and y chromosomes. That is, while the premise of this story is interesting, there are some major biological plot holes.

Well...no matter how much I see it, the panty shots are all crotch shots to me
I thought this is romance or shonen ai. :(
Really hope the comments here don't turn into tumblr Jr.
As far as I know, it's not so much the exploration or depiction of sexualities that's the problem but more the attempted blurring of the lines. Sexuality is not nearly as grey as people would like to think to feel better about themselves.

Warning: The following is a rant. Proceed of your own volition.

I do hope that Masaomi and Kenji end up together. They are cute as a couple, and I think Kenji trusts him enough to eventually be sexual with him.
Dang, I read Change H so long ago. It was strangely intriguing in a very Japanese sexual-identity sort of way. Like as repressed as their society is, they seem to be more frank about depicting and exploring complex sexual and gender issues than Americans will. Horo Musuko, for example. Nice to see the most innocent series of stories (if you can call it that) continued here.
After reading all those chapters, i get a really weird feeling, especially after that scene betwen gouru? and tomozuka? i dont remember their names,

@Tetsudan
meh i am straight male as well, and i wouldnt mind being a woman myself. i dont really prefer any gender problem is i only like straight females, straight males, and gay females. i just dont get along with the gay men community -.-
imagine if everyone could be the gender they wanted to be born as... that would cause many complexities but they people are needlessly complex as it is
not that the people in this manga had a choice lol

@Nugester
No kidding bro, changing a male to a female is not easy stuff at all, i am wondering why everything looks so... rural with that kind of tech
Someone's already mentioned that since they have the technology/science to make men into women, why couldn't they figure out the disease/illness that's afflicting birth rates? Better yet, how do we know that the men that turn into women, won't succumb to the same fate? Probability? lol
Boners, boners everywhere!
I bet Gorou is going to come visit and have sex with all of them.
I'd rather this go the yuri path, just because Kenji should still be a guy inside right? But once again this brings up the whole "does changing biologically also change your sexual preference over time?" thing.

@Tetsudan may be right about the whole estrogen thing so I guess it would actually make sense for Kenji to start liking guys or w/e but yea once again I agree with @Vela I wouldn't take this too seriously since the whole premise is a bit weird.

I don't really enjoy the whole awkwardness with Kenji and Masaomi and Kenji's confusion (since he seems to blush at everything, it is understandable though i guess) but at the same time I kind of want to know what direction this is headed in.
I know Kenji's a guy but ...god damn, I'm confusing him for a tom boyish girl!
I would have f***ed her by now.
Eh, why not. Followed.
This can be reasoned, though. Not very well, but enough for a fiction manga. I mean, estrogen affects the mind just as much as testosterone. The slightest imbalance can drastically alter anyone's personality. The human brain is fickle enough that amnesia can turn you into a completely different person. Your sexual preferences are not hard-wired into your DNA. Your sexual preference encompasses such a minuscule portion of your mind that one really good concussion could overwrite it completely. That's how fragile it is. Straight males are the most defensive of their sexual preference compared to any other preference and gender combination. As one such straight male, what I've stated here is undeniable.
Needs less insecurity in sexualities.
saw ur guys posts from a few months ago and i agree, preference is preference. i seriously doubt that having your gender changed will change your preference unless somehow your brain underwent a change in the process.
What a dumb concept, How the heck is turning men in to women gonna effect fertility rates? If they have the ability to seamlessly turn a male into a fully functioning female, why not just clone fucking females, use artificial pregnancy, or pregnancy surrogacy, You know real science? and if you your gonna go as far as force children to undergo elaborate surgery, why not just institute government enforced breeding programs.

There are alot easier ways put sexual confusion and gender identity problems in your manga that doesn't require you using some silly over complicated concept.
I'm not that much into gender bender, but this manga is great. Slice of life, romance and some psychological - philosophical touch.
Spoiler
This manga makes me uncomfortable lol..
Oh gods, i do hate these scenarios. I turns my stomach every time i come over any story/manga/anime where the freaking government butts into peoples lives, decides who they can love or violate individual lives by forcing them into shit like this for the "greater good of humanity". Bonus if it's in the hentai setting, were i actually get sick to the point of throwing up and feeling bad for being human.
