I...uh... don't think you get the point. You go totally fanciful for barge names.  Pubs?  Are a different matter. The longest I can find is The Old Thirteenth Cheshire Astley Volunteer Rifleman Corps Inn... in Stalybridge (try getting that on a sign).  But, one I've been to and always liked the name of?  The Cat and Custard-Pot. Pubs have traditions of their own, and, although often quaint and creative, usually have very prosaic roots (or even bloody ones). <shrugs>

The Rose and Crown.  Dessert Orchid.  The Beehive.  The Queen's Head.  These are pub names.  Poisson?  Sounds like a cheap bar in the middle of some crappy Central Business District, rather.

Wait, wait, wait. How is it possible that your grades fall when you tutor a weaker student? This may be the manga universe but I doubt even she will study all the time at home. So tutoring a weaker student actually provide you the opportunity to strengthen your basics. And she even did bad enough to land in Class E although the dumb girl doesn't. Is the criteria for Class E based on fluctuation of marks rather than the mark itself?

You spend so much time tutoring them in those basics and/or the middle-ground you've already got, you don't advance further in areas you're shaky in as you run out of time to concentrate on those thanks to spending all of it trying to drum stuff into their heads.  Their grades go up; yours go down -- from their perspective, it's a win. Tada! *bows*

And, I'm thinking one way to teach somebody to swim is to become an anchor to force them to.  Dunno why.

She said her weak studies. So she might be / is good at the things she's tudoring that stupid wench in, but because of that and other outside factors doesn't get enough study time with the subjects she's poor in, causing her GPA to drop, maybe enough to be sent to class E. Afterall, it's never stated that she's an A student in the subjects she's good at.
