Wrong. Both of them didn't get a life sentence for "witnessing" said crimes. They got a life sentence because they were succesfully charged with the crimes they witnessed.

Well, in "Deadman Wonderland" the MC got a death sentence because he was the only survivor in his class and witnessed the "red man" kill his entire class

now that i've seen 2-seconds guy past i can't help but feel for him because it wasn't his fault that he ended up in juvenile, but if you look at it another way if it wasn't for that he would probably die to zombies as he would be a normal citizen :/

You know it's VERY unlikely for a prison to have only 1 set of keys... It's entirely possible for them to have taken another set from a dead guard.

Well, obviously. As far as we know, the only people Maeda befriended were his roommates, hell got loose just after he came in (since he got locked up because of the zombyification in the first place) and anyway the bokor would know the other inmates too.

But he seems to have known Maeda pretty well, so I would bet on him being family or a close friend, if only Maeda recognized him. I mean, even in times of stress and with three pupils, I think I would recognize family. 'Specially so close up.

Or maybe he just fell in love when Maeda shot him in the head.

the two other guys would have just thought "They've got a woman, and they so want to keep her to themselves they even hung up a sign like that! What a joke, how could they have made prisoner an immortal zombie mastermind, if that even existed?"

I am sure any suspicion of the zombie-king trying to protect Maeda doesn't register. Considering the guy tried to force Maeda to swallow his blood, and the kid was about ready to kill Maeda. I am sure he just has something bigger planned for Maeda.

Having seen and read my share of Scifi and been a Biologist I can think of one thing. Some species have intermediate forms, temporary forms, this happens most of the times in parasites. The treatment the Bokur suffered might have not been completed, he might be a transition form, only when the infection passes to another individual will this be the complete form.

Since the Bokur can't control the "dogs", and these zombie forms attack him, he isn't in the top of the new ecossistem.

So this is what happens when you skip lectures... ^^
