Acid Town

I have to say that I usually dislike yaoi, but I don't really count this story as that. The romance is more shonen-ai (as the current tag says) and pretty subtle, with a lot of other stuff going on. I see it as more of an underworld story than romance, and it's a pretty interesting story. Also, so far the romance hasn't exceeded a kiss (and one vague flashback but there wasn't really any detail shown). Unless it has the "smut" tag, it's usually a pretty safe read.

 

Also, despite how it sounds, the "visits" mentioned in the description don't really have anything to do with the shonen-ai or yaoi tag.

If you don't like yaoi then why are you guys even commenting?

A lot of viewers have ended up here from browsing the yaoi tag you know, and thus it's properly tagged. If you've read this then you've done it on your own accord.

About how someone could like this, well think of it as the same way some of you guys(not everyone of course) enjoy watching girls make out, except we like it when there's romance and an actual story behind all that(most of the time that is XD). Also, again, a lot of the fans have ended up reading this because they were browsing the yaoi tag so in other worlds yaoi is part of the reason we enjoy this manga.

I understand that not everyone is comfortable with reading this sort of manga, and of course there is nothing wrong with voicing your opinion, but please refrain from using insulting words because there really is no point. The only thing you'll probably achieve is upsetting someone and that's really unnecessary. Instead you could just go and read something of your own taste and preferences.

Anyway, Kyuugou-sama has really done it this time.This is definitely one of her best works yet and i really adore the story and the characters. And it's true, this is not your typical yaoi manga, it kinda reminds me a bit of Yoneda Kou's works with the whole yakuza theme and all, but this manga really odes have a very unique feel to it. Dark but very deep story, I really hope that they'll update this soon.

Heh, reminds me of Sensen Spike Hills. Except yaoi.

I will admit i didn't like this manga much at first,
but after awhile, the story got really good.

Also this is not your typical Yaoi. It just had dark themes. I wouldn't skip this manga just because it has the tag yaoi.

i would have wanted to read the manga but i just cant get my head around yaoi...well that's life
